I was washing my car today... And I cut my finger cleaning my drivers window. I hit it on some little black thing on the top right where the window goes down... What the hell is that little black thing. Can I cut it off?

 

The black what? when? where? why? how? If you don't think the black thing serves a function, likely chance you can sand or saw it off.

 

Its a thing located on the door. Where the window goes down its there...

 

I think all or most cars have that little black thing. I believe it's to help guide and keep your window on track as you roll it up.

 

I was about to take it off too.

 

Heh... saw it off... i think the nissan engineer's put it there for a reason..

i'll take a closer look at it tommorrow (when i go out to my car), BUT i suspect it might be there to keep the window in...

Thanx... Website is there, just cuz it turns out that I work for a computer company, and was excessively bored one day....

I just need to get some pictures of my maxima up...
(I'll bring my digital camera along next time I wash the car, cuz right now it's too filthy to put pictures on the net.... In fact, if i put pictures of the way my max looks right now, I would get less hits than fatgirls.com :-)
