general maintenance question

Do the 2k SE's need to have their valves adjusted at any time? Will it restore some power on engines with 80k miles? Thanks in advance.

Not sure but I recommend getting the fuel injectors cleaned at 80K would make your run like it's brand new.

I'm not certain but I think our cars have hydraulic lifters and do not need adjustment. Generally, any car that requires valve lash adjustment will have that service listed in the maintenance section of the owner's manual.

Take it to the dealership. I've added injector cleaner at each oil change every 4,000 miles because I use synthetic oil. You will definately feel a difference.

whenenver I change my oil I add some injector cleaner to the tank. Normal oil changes are supposed to be at 3,000 miles. But since I use synthetic oil I change it every 4,000 miles and add the injector cleaner to the tank.

Not true on these engines. They can be adjusted.

You are correct. I noticed that the emission/tuneup label on the underside of the hood lists the valve lash specs. They are definitely adjustable. I don't see anything in the maintenance guide regarding adjustment.
