So anyone installed the Clear Tails yet??

I know some of you guys were talkin bout them a little while back, and I was one of the ones that was very much undecided on whether I like them or hated them. Anyone buy these yet and put them on Max? These with the black dont look too bad, but I think I like the stock ones better... just wondering

okay okay guys come down on dissing the tailights.....

Honestly, they look like ours 2k2/2k3, just the brake light on ours is red and our turn signal is amber... They'll look okay in my opinion, just need some reworking, thats all

you really don't have to watch out for the cops as long as you do the folllowing...
1. put a red LED bulb in the brake light...
2. put a amber LED bulb in the turn signal....

or.
3. spray the brake light (top) with traslucent red paint (testors)
4. put a Red LED bulb on the turn signal (bottome)...

either way you'll have red emitting for the brake light, which is the most important.....also make sure you're turn signal either emits red or amber, not white...you'll get pulled over otherwise...

I plugged blue colored Polarg light bulbs for my signal lights that emit hyper-white color when signals are on. Cops have not pulled me over for using them, but maybe I've been lucky so far (knock on wood!). I will be posting pics of my max later tonight so until then, sit tight guys.

that is incorrect. to be legal they need to have a red reflector first and foremost

all aorund me alot of people use hyper-white blinkers without a problem and second its not the brake light thats a problem becasue that has to be red no matter what becasue then people wont know your braking

its the fact that by law u ahve to have red reflectors on the back of the car that way when people are driving at night they can see your parked car
