Does this void the warrenty? I really want to do this... In response to ArcticMaxes Last post... How much horsepower does this gain?

No it does not void your warranty. Don't let the dealer tell you otherwise. The warranty is only void if they can prove that your modification caused the malfunction.

Keep the filter clean and make sure the tubing is not sucking up anything too bad, and you should have no problems at all. Even if you do, take the hose off and stick in the L-tube before you take it into the dealer. How will they ever know?

Screw them dealers!!

if the car needs to be serviced, just put back the factory L-pipe back in. It will only take 10 minutes.

And plus, it's not that visible at all becuse the tubing is black. You have to really look for it to know its there.

I'm gonna add a y-pipe soon, cant' wait!!!!!

Excellent advice. If you put the cold air end of the tubing inside the bumper skirt, you shouldn't run into any difficulty sucking up bad ****. But I'd check the filter periodically just to be on the safe side.
