Where can i find clear sides for my 03' Max? Also what is the going price on them.. Also i was looking into getting my windows tinted talked to a guy at the shop and he stated that the FROST tint that i wanted isn't a high quality tint is this so can anyone give some advice...

Just out of curiousity, why don't you guy's charge & ship the red bulbs too? I had the ambers but had to go get the reds. No big deal just askin'.

 

Does that include the Hyper-White lights?

 

All other colored bulbs can be ordered, but they are not included with the clear corners.

 

So I should not have had my head-in-my-azz when I ordered and informed you I needed them eh? Actually I didn't know any better at the time, live-n-learn. Got that back-ordered tie-down BTW (installed), thanks.

 

Hey Steve, do you know how the red bulbs you guys carry looks with the clears? I know most of the red bulbs seem to give off a "pinkish" color.

Is there anyway to minimize the pink??

 

My set 4 came with 2 yellow bulbs..

 

Red bulbs are always going to appear pink. LEDs would be the only way to get a true red color from the sidemarkers. Either that or take out the bulb completely.

 

I have been contemplating clears. It would be nice for someone to make a package with 4 clears and the correct color bulbs for the front and rear. LED or conventional, as long as they are amber and red.

 

Theses are amber/red led that I use. A little pricey, but I have had no issues with them.

Y2KSESteve, why don't you sell a complete "plug 'n play" package with 2/4 clears and the correct color LED lights? I know most of the guys here allready have clears, but it would make the lazy ones here (myself included) step up and get them. Just a thought.

The colors are great, amber is amber, and red is red with no hint of pink. Not as bright as some high power led's, but I think this is why they hold their color.

Cool, I'll get some LED's from superbrightleds. Good prices too.
I saw they have 2 different LED's for the 194/168 bulbs in our Max.

They have the following:
12 VDC 1 LED
12 VDC 4 LED

Is the 4 LED brighter than 1 LED? Since they're both the same size, I'm wondering if theres a difference in the light output...

The 1 led projects light mainly from the sides (wide angle) , the 4 led straight at you (beam type). I assume the 4 led is a lot brighter. How much and does it affect the color, don't know.

i dont know, 2 years ago CM charged me pretty cheap for all 4 clears, when i needed 4 new clears again, 2 years later, the price jumped up 25 bucks

i called SWA and they charged me what CM charged me 2 years ago...

 

E-bay has the cheapest prices... E-bizzle all the way.

 

But custom maxima is on the east coast, so shipping is cheaper for us east coasters, such as the guy who started this thread. You are both $54 for all 4, but SWA wants $17.99 s/h where custommaxima.com wants $7.00 s/h. $10.99 cheaper.
