Was wondering if anyone ever added interior floor illumination lighting. I think the map lights should come on when a door is opened. If you've ever been in a luxury car they have a lot of interior lighting, makes the car look alot better inside. I want to mount a light under each side of the dash illuminating the floor, but don't know what to wire it to. Any Suggestions?

Wouldn't it be easier to get at the lights in the doors?

 

change all you interior bulbs changed to piaa/eurolite 's (dome, maps/ doors) and its a hell of a difference

 

I installed 9" neon tubes. 2 under the dash and two under each seat. Looks pretty cool. I have it wired so that when the door opens, the lights go on. Needed a relay and stuff, but other than it, it was easy.
