GLE owners... get some SE rear springs.

One man's trash is another man's treasure. One of our fellow org members was kind enough to give me his 2K3 SE springs and strut cartridges when he upgraded. After some research, I think the only difference between the GLE and SE stuff is the rear springs. The front springs and all four shock/strut cartridges are the same(I think). I installed the rear springs this weekend and......... what a nice improvement.

For those with the GXE/GLE suspension, the SE rear springs really make the car more stable in turns and at high speed. The car is not nearly as floaty in that 90-100 mph range. It also doesn't have that feeling of rolling over on itself in a hard turn anymore. The car always felt like it was struggling in turns, funny how rear springs helped that.

The only minor trade-off is that the car is just slightly jittery on rough surfaces, where the GLE springs completely soak up rough road, it's not at all harsh though.

You'll really notice the improvment with a RSB too. I have a SE and it made my car a lot less floaty going around curves

Is the only suspension difference between the SE and GLE the rear springs? I also thought that the bushings and shocks were different. Anyone know?
