Paint Chip on my front hood with Rust!!!!

DAMN DAMN DAMN I was just washing the car yesterday and noticed a paint chip on my front hood right above the grille with what looks like some rust.......
What do i do? I have touch up paint...does that help? I assume touch up paint will only cover it up....
How can I get rid of the rust? ...will the rust spread..??....PLEASE HELP!!!.

You should have a 5-year/unlimited-miles rust protection warranty standard from Nissan.

If you believe it's rust, take it to the dealer to see what they can do about it. Chances are, if it is determined to be rust, they'll remove it, touch-up the spot, and detail it out.

Good luck. If it is rust-through, the warranty will probably cover it. However, if it is rust forming where a stone chipped the paint, that will probably not be covered.
