Remote Start Questions

Hey, Im planning on getting the top of the line Viper Remote Start LCD alarm....Does anyone know if the remote starters damage the car in any way? one says ignition.....ive never gotten one and dont really know anyone that has had a remote start for a few years. please help me out. thanks!!!!!!!

it could mess up the starter but usually it doesnt do damage

If you don't know anything about alarm system, pay someone else to do it for you, preferably DEI certified installers. No, it won't damage anything if you have it done professionally.

yeah i plan to get it done by Circuit City where i work, im just wonderin about the long term affect on the car, if im going to have some serious problems in teh future, im not loaded so i cant just buy a whole new car well anything i should think about that MAY happen?>? I've had a remote starter in my car for almost 1 year now. I paid a car stereo shop to do it for me. So far, no problems. I think Circuit City does a good job too. Be sure to talk to the technician, ask questions and chat a bit to get to know how good he is.
