Wonderful.. I bought Firestone tires right before the Explorer thing, and even though they're very good in traction and treadwear, I can't help but be worried by all these recalls.

Not only is the Altima SE affected

Our 2000 Altima GXE has the affected tires b/c of the factory option package it came with. Fortunately we have a an authorized Firestone dealer a short walk from our home. At least it was picked up before anything happened. It's the car my wife uses with the kids! I'll swap out my Maxima's Brigestones also at some point. My son likes the "bouncing green ballies" so here they go:
