2K GTS Carbon Fiber Headlight Pics>

I got them from carparts.com for $25 (my friend got the 4th gen and I got the 5th gen both for $100 and had a $50 off $100 coupon of the whole order

http://members.nbci.com/Gr8bone/head...gtocovers.html

you have to cut and paste it cuz this site doesn't allow links to it

I'm upping the pics right now so you might have to wait a couple mins to see all of them

Do U Gotta Take Em Off At Night...

When you use your regular lights? How do they mount, with velcro? From your pics at a distance, it is hard to tell that you have them on - are they more noticable in person?

Thanks

Yes you should take them off which takes all of 20 secs.

There is no velcro with these...they just snap on and get locked in place by the hood...the 4th gen uses velcro.
At a distance my headlights were so white in contrast to my bra...not its a much more noticeable difference in person and in the digpics.

Pioneer...if you want a bra just buy one at courtesyparts.com or buy my 1yr old bra and I'll buy a new one If you get luckly they'll have mispriced the bra for $68 on their site like they did when I ordered the 2000 altima bra and you'll get it for well under the invoice price of $90 something

avs

if you guys like darker or completely solid smoked out lenses the avs would be nice. they dont' fit all 100% perfectly but i'm happy. at night you hafta take it off or else your fogs gonna end up brighter then the head lights.

I'm sorry, but...

What purpose do these "Carbon fibre" headlamp covers serve? I mean, they don't exactly make it look all that better. They look pretty cheap.

well

3 reasons why i bought my headlight covers

1) that night my friends went raving and i don't go to raves so i thot, hmmm 35bux for tickets 20 for E might as well buy head light cover

2)imo they look good with my car it matches i got grey luster and makes the whole car look like a black shiny babe.

3) on road trips during the day, the rock chips the head light cover and not the headlight.

nuff reasoning there?? but i hafta say yes it would look ugly on certain color cars.. or not. the carbon ones look nice too imo. diff strokes for diff folks right??

Mingo, waddya mean they don't fit 100%?

Are they not fitting well or what? How "off" are they? Did AVS not do us 2K owners justice???

well they fit fine

it's just the sides on the corner parts don't have clips so it flanges out a cm or so.. it realy doesn't bother me tho.. it all fits real nice until u get to the corner. but if u push gently on the cover flexing the plastic u'lll see that it's cut out right. so i guess it's either suppose to fit like that or is a lil mis fit. but i say it's cool..

hahaha pioneer. black out is nice. makes it look clean and is functional.. hahaah not gold. muhahahaah. i see your point tho..

Well I got the Carbon Fiber over the smoked cuz the SE's tail lights are carbn fiberish looking, everyone I see driving around has smoked and I wanted to protect my headlights while making the car look good.

The first pics I took where when I just put them on. It had just rained and my engine was still warm so condensation formed behind the covers.

Now that I have them on I like how you can just make out the headlights behind the covers and the shade of black that the carbon fibers displays matches the the bra nicely.

Plus if I want to later I can spray paint the back on the cover whatever color I want to make a black/anycolor I choose variation for the covers.

I'm very please with the new looks of the covers and wished nissan integrated them at the factory like they should the bra
