Is resetting 01 ECU the same as 02-03

I was just wondering if resetting the 01 ecu is the same process as resetting the 02-03 or do you have to just disconnect the battery.

02-03 has drive-by-wire, 00-01 dont, different process for each one. all i have heard or read is to just disconnect the battery for the 00-01. the process for the other years is in the stickies.

NO! for 2k-2k1 just disconnect the Neg. battery cable for 24+ hours.

however, 2k2-2k3 are drive-by-wire and require the fancy pedal pushing trick.
