BOSE tweeter fix

I found a tempory fix for the BOSE tweeter. There is a rudimentary bass blocker connected to the tweeter. I bypassed the bass blocker, and what a big difference. I can actually hear the music now.

I plan on installing after market sub, probably a MTX 12" and a Rockford punch amp in about a month along with a new set of tweeters. For those of who experience no highs with the BLOWS system, it is worth a try.

it's really an illusion...the added bass makes your mid/highs sound louder
this is a good idea, but if you start pumping it..............pop. that bass blocker is a high pass filter. tweeters shouldn't recieve below a certain frequency. you're basically allowing it to power bass. long term powering like that and snap crackle pop.

I have an even better fix. Swap them out for some Polks, and use the crossover provided with them. MMMMM. Crispy

Funny...I did the opposite and installed some 'bass-blocker' type things on my door speakers...
