Quick question about coils before I jump the gun and buy a set!

2000 SE. My VIN apparently does not fall within the VINs on the TSB (though car was first registered in sept/99). However, recently I brought the car in to get checked out the "rattling" that I've had for thousands of miles. It's slowly getting worse. New plugs, 93 gas, idling is good, power is perfect. But sometimes the rattling is bad, especially in third gear accelerating on the highway (2500-3500 RPM only).

Nissan said I need to switch all 6 coils. They couldn't tell which was bad, because my CEL did not come on. So really the question is: Even though my CEL didn't come on could this still be the coils?

TIA!

Just ordered a set of 6 shipped for $309 from Dave Burnette (many here have used him). 1-888-254-6060 is his number if anybody is interested. Sounded like a great guy and I will have the coils in a few days!
