sorry im new ok i was on the highway tonight i see this black firebird next to me i reved my engine going 75. Then he reved his going about 75 also; then i took off as he took off we were both tied till about 110 when i started to pull on him. I was going about 115 when i had about a nose length on him after i stopped. I dunno if he was stock because the car was loud as he**, but it was also a v8 so i dont know.

Lowest hp that body style trans-am produced was 275 with 325 lb/ft torque. Depending on year and options, that could go as high as 330 HP and 350 lb/ft torque.

I think somewhere there is a trans-am owner laughing about the guy in the v6 sedan running WOT while he still had 2 inches of peddle left.
Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe your intake pushes you up close to 300 hp.

I dust auto LT1s on the highway, and belive it or not I had a roll with a ZO6 with me at 100shot of NOS, I pulled about 2 cars on him to 150 in my 5spd GXE VQ-K motor...granted its nothing close to stock.

my friend '93 dynoed his firebird transam at 240rwhp, about 3400lb weight. that was 275 hp version. so if the stock maxima is about 210whp, with all those mods it should come up to about 240-245, no? Plus it's a newer car. So it looks like that is very possilbe

Anyone looking for a 2001 shell with a blown engine, I know where you can get a great deal.
