The headers are scheduled to come out the first or second week of January.

And now?

Seems we can't get enough of the "2 weeks" speech huh?

It's a reasonable delay. In another thread it was reported that the headers were more complicated than anticipated. I'm willing to wait if the results are good.

are these headers gonna sound as awful with a cat-back gonna as my 4th gen did with cat-back and y pipe? if so, i'm all about cattman. i was kinda let down when the version with the precat was withdrawn.

There was never a version with pre cats included. At one time a version with a main cat was in the works. As far as sound, it's hard to say. Their are some sound clips of the hotshot headers on Altimas.net. They sounded pretty good to me.

We installed a set of HotShots an a 3.5 5 speed Altima and the sound was one of the best sounding Nissans I've ever heard. I can only assume the same awesome sound will be there for the max.

I would never put a Stillen product on any of my cars. This goes faaaar back like 7 years ago on my own SE-R where I lost HP with their "cams". From what I heard Stillen Visa/MasterCard is worth 15WHP in any car as long as U keep it in your wallet. Plus I hate superchargers- I own 2 SR20DET powered cars with enough power to run down any SCed Maxima, I wanna turbo Max or NA. No blowers for me.
