2003 Titanium Edition Pedals

Hey guys,
I,ve been hearing talk on the forum that the 2003 Titanium Edition Maxima SE has its own brake pedals (Very similar to the 2001 AE ) Is this true????????

I have a 2003 Super Blk Maxima SE Titanium Edition (AUTO) and I don't have them on my car???? Is this right???? Or was mine jacked??!!

Someone please give me a heads up.........Thanks

The brake pedal is rubber from the factory. No fancy pedals on the Titanium Edition unless the dealership put it on and charged you up the *** for it.

No, who ever told you that is wrong. I've got a 2k3 TE as well and I don't have pedals like the AE, well actually I do, but I bought them from Southwest Autoworks, they didn't come on the car from the factory. Hope this answers your question.

Exactly. I have an auto 2k3 TE and mine didn't have them. No big deal though, you can buy the OEM AE pedals pretty cheap from www.courtesyparts.com, they are a direct swap. That was my first "mod" along with the 350z dead pedal.

he's not wrong...if you have the limited slip..regardless of whether it is a TE or not..you will have the AE pedals on the gas brake and clutch pedals
and a full size spare tire

Does this mean I can direct swap the 01 AE Brake Pedals onto my Auto 2003 Titanium Edition without a problem.......is it really direct replacement??? If so, I'm doing it!

Sure can.

Brake pedal - Direct swap, just take the old rubber cover off and put the AE one on.

Gas pedal - AE gas pedal comes with the whole assembly, which doesn't fit our 2k3s. So you simply take the AE pedal off of it's assembly and put it on your existing assembly. All you need to do this is a small flathead screwdriver. **Note - The bar that the gas pedal sits on is slightly smaller in the 2k3 so it's good to wrap some electric tape around it to thicken it up before putting the AE gas pedal on.

350z dead pedal - Just cut the plastic housing down with a dremel, bandsaw or hacksaw. Then it screws right into the floor.

All together it took me about a half hour counting the time it took to cut down the 350z dead pedal. It's a piece of cake. Good luck!
