so i finally posted ~ pics included!!

i've been lurking for quite a while now absorbing as much information from the 5th gen community about maximas ever since I bought my own in September of 2003. and i thank you all for putting up thousands of great educational posts for Maxima newbie's like myself.

short story of why i chose the maxima over the other japanese sedans. i was a previous owner of a '98 MBZ ML320, and on my trip up to canada w/ gf for vacation my gf totals my car in Eugene, OR of all places (tboned @ 35 mph) when it was her turn to drive (i've driven for a good 6 hours before).

We eventually make it up to Canada via Greyhound Bus (never again!! ) and since my car was in MBZ heaven, gf's uncle lets us borrow his 2003 Maxima SE Auto...and after driving that car around canada for a good 5 days i was sold.

so after everything was settled i used the insurance check and picked up a used 2001 20th Anniversary Edition 5 speed (all options) with 31,500 miles for 17k. the previous owner had already installed stillen goodies FTSB, RSB, Intake, eibach springs w/ tokico shocks. so i thought it was a good deal. 2k2+ Maxima's around Orange County were all cloth and autotragic.

It's been almost 3 months now and I'm totally in love with the Maxima, every time i drive it, it just brings a huge to my face...anyways here's are some pics of my 2nd GF

To do List to get replies:

1. get performance mods ie ypipe, exhaust, sc
2. post dyno sheet, whp/wtq ratings, 1/4 time slips
3. post lots and lots of pics.

Anyone in the SoCali area holla at me!
Also interested to see how many people have the 20th AE Max.

Have a Nice Day

thanks. the stillen aero kit would probably be your best bet, but it has a more exaggerated front lip.

Yea, i've seen it...but it doesn't call my attention. I'm hard headed....if nothing else comes out i like i might just buy it and have the front lip extended a bit, we'll see. No rush, i have no money! hahaha

Your Max is the same as mine. I have Eibachs also, but mine seems lower than yours for some reason. When I get a good camera, I will post some pictures. Anyways, nice choice and looks great!!
