stock grille removal

I searched and found a little bit of info but only for 2002/03.. The grille should be similar though, but i am not sure what i'm looking for.

Anyways,
anyone remove the grille on 00/01?

From the searches, people are talking about removing the whole bumper and cutting the grille out?

i'm not removing it for the purpose of a mesh grille though.

you either have to cut out the factory grill for a replacement as it is one piece with the front bumper or you can place the replacement grill over the factory. Kpazzo has the best writeup for that. check his homepage.

The only way to remove the grill from a 2000-2001 is to cut it out. The grill is part of the front bumper.
