Has anyone ever put in an aluminum dash kit in a GLE, or any maxima with a kit in there already? I really want to put in an aluminum dash kit in, but the pieces would not cover up the wood trim. Anyone have suggestions on what i should do? thanks

 

im gonna send this back up top cause i was worring about the same thing.

 

i would suggest maybe trading dash peices for reg. peices with another member that wants wood? Then apply the aluminum kit

 

yeah thats what i was thinking, or somehow painting the wood pieces to black or something. stupid gle's......

 

yeah i wanted to do the same thing with my GLE. i ended up just getting a kit that matches the factory wood since i have the tan interior. covers tbe main console, air vents, sunglass cover, and sunroof buttons. i like it and it looks like it came from the factory.

 

who makes your kit, and where did you get it from?
