Car vandalized again
Car vandalized again
My car was broken into last evening through front passanger window. ***** went after the stereo but seems like didn't take anything. It was raining here in Baltimore all day, so the seats and the upholstery got all wet. What hurts the most, this is the 2nd break-in through the same window in 1.5 yrs. GRRRR

Vandalism SUCKS!
About a month ago in San Francisco, I was walking down one street (Geary) in a decent neighborhood, and noticed freshly smashed car glass along almost the entire length of the street. That meant vandals knocked out the side windows of almost every car parked there the night before! Stupid.
Those kinds of people should just be magically 'wiped out.'
Peace.

damn right, and then our insurance premium may go up!
I just got off the phone w/local Nissan dealer, that chrome piece molding trim that goes around the window ALONE costs $58, and the window runs $210.

dont get the window from Nissan...I just recently had my windshield replaced for $156 installed with a lifetime warranty on parts and labor. fitment is perfect and everything. Aftermarket auto glass stores/mobile services are the way to go. as for the moulding...junkyard? i'm not sure how easily it comes off though. good luck and sorry to hear about the vandalism.

I figure the OEM glass is better because 1) better fitment, 2) resale won't be hurt as much, especially if my insurance covers everything with 0 deductable..
