Question for guys with maxspeeds...

I was at a meet last week and was talking to an owner of basically my same exact car...anyways I thought he had eibachs but turned out he has maxspeeds like me. Now, my maxspeeds almost look like the wheels could tuck, camber is off and looks more sloppy than the other kisd maxspeeds...he is using kyb-gr2's and I'm on stock struts until I get my gr2's as well...is it maybe the struts? His looked a lot higher than mine, I mean it was a very noticeable difference an no my springs are not cut or anything. Anyways I hate the ride and quality of these springs, once I get the struts time to switch to teins or maybe eibachs...

struts should have very little to nothing to do with ride height. i assume you are both on the same sized wheels and tires? other than weight being in the car, they should be relatively the same. i dont have a ride quality issue with mine and ive riden in cars with teins and eibachs. its not a very low drop but with the tire size i have, i couldnt go very low without worrying about rubbing. ride quality is surely affected by stock struts. i would go with the gr-2s before you swap out the springs unless you are looking for a more aggressive drop.

The original Maxspeeds are regular springs while the newer generation springs are progressive rate.

However, this has not been proven nor does Maxspeed verify any of this information.
