ok search is down and this decision is really bugging me. im deciding betweem Injen and Frankencar, from what i got so far is that Frankencar has better results power wise and gives a pretty nice sound at WOT, while Injen, looks amazing and i heard the sound was amazing too, such as the whoosh when swititching gears, but its lower in performance then Frankencar, i know some ppl that had Injen changed to Frankencar, ...and Frankencar is cheaper

if you get the frankencar, get like a heat sheild so it wouldnt suck hot air in. The injen just gets colder air since its at the bottom of the engine compartment. injen will have better low end torque, i dont know how much different then the frankencar though

 

go to control panel / options and change Default posts per thread to 40. Then scroll back one or two pages and look at the last 80-120 posts and I guarantee you'll find posts comparing these intakes.

be ready to replace MAF if you want to go with aftermarket intake

 

I had the Frank. Switched to the Injen and I am much happier with the performance. I would not change back at all.

 

I have injen for over 10 months. only i changed the intake is changed filter because injen filter is so small.
