Dreaded P0420

Any idea what would cause this? I think it's the right bank catalyst efficiency, or something like that. I just had a new alternator put in (at 53K miles). The SES light came on two days later. Coil problem maybe?

I left the battery disconnected overnight to reset the ECU. Hooked it back up and drove an hour to work this morning and it hasn't come back on yet. We'll see ...

I just had mine done a couple of weeks ago. Mine was throwing codes for both banks. The dealership reprogrammed the ECU...and then after testing it, decided the cat was bad too. All of it was done under warranty and was part of a TSB. As I recall, the warranty on reprogramming the ECU is up to 60k miles and replacement of the cat was up to 80k miles.
