GAB Help

Sorry to post another GAB thread but I am having trouble finding info on clamps or something to securely hold the filter without the filter bracket. Can anybody point me in the right direction? I just got a K&N filter specifically for this purpose but am kinda stumped on what would be good for holding the filter.

Guys, the filter holder is what holds the filter there. You need to cut the top of the filter holder, but leave it in there. This is how mine looked, and I was one of the early users...

I didn't want to cut my filter holder though. I get my car fixed at my uncle's repair shop. He is old school so if he see's anychange or modification "unnecessary" he won't fix my car or just keep on putting in his .02 cents. Price i have to pay for free labor.

Yeah I didnt want to cut up my filter bracket. I was hoping someone came up with some ingenious way to hold it in there. Maybe I will just try to find one in a junk yard or something.
