ecu q

do you have to buy another ecu before you get it programmed from techno sqaure, because i want my stock one still. Or do they supply you with one.

you take yours out, fedex it there, and they fedex it back. You then reinstall it. That simple

if you want your stock there no reason too becasue this ecu is just better overall so get it done and then later when you wnat your stock program then they can just re program it again. go get it done

whats the shut down time as of yet?

I need my car every day.....How much would an extra ECU cost?

depends on where u get it some junkyards charge a lot and some you cna get for cheap. just look around

3 day turnaround
ship monday after work. they program tuesday, ship back tuesday. you get it wed. morning or wed. nite. tech it's only a 2 day downtime. max 3 day if you take it out sun. nite.

do's anyone know the procedure to remove ecu on the 5th gen. maxima. I know its under the radio bolted to floor, but do's radio or climate control need to come out to get to it??

Even if you get another ECU, you'll still need to send in the original due to the immobilizer info. I believe it was mentioned that you could send both and they would duplicate the stock info to the 2nd. The purpose of which is really to copy the immobilizer data.
