Sterring wheel shake?

I get a steering wheel shake under moderate braking at 60 + mph....

I'm thinking warped rotors maybe?

Any thoughts?

Thanks ed

I would only think about warped rotors if the brake pedal pulsates while the braking and steering wheel shaking occurs.

exact same thing happend to me.. brakes are warped. If you're below 36k and haven't had your rotars turned yet they should do it under warranty (they did mine)

ON a similar note....if I get some Brembo blanks...are they pretty much bolt-on (i can do it at home with minimal effort) or will I need to take it to a shop to install...also anyhone recommend just getting fronts or should I get all 4?

It's not that hard to put the rotors on. You just have to remove the caliper and pull the rotor off. I'd strongly reccomend new pads as well.

Most likely its the rotors warping as you've already been told. But I had shaking even when I didn't brake. Found out that when my wheels were rotated, the tech didn't torque the wheels equally. Each nut has to be torqued the same. I forgot what the torque spec is. Hopefully someone will chime in. good luck.
