luckily, isn't my max. i walked on the street today and i saw a light blue max GXE from Connecticut. both of the front side marker was stolen, and the bulbs too.
The place is in Flushing, NY.
damn...people start to steal that and make them clear and sell them on ebay...!!

and i went back to my max, weee...they still there.

Great, practically in my own backyard. Anyone who lays a FINGER on my car will be dealt with if I catch them.

 

That sucks...there has to be a way to secure items like center caps, side markers, etc...krazy glue comes to mind, but sounds a bit extreme

 

I'm sure those missing orange markers will eventually turn up - ON EBAY sold as clears!! Those, along with the center caps from the 17's will be there too. What's next, people gonna steal my SPOILER or my SUNROOF DEFECTOR????

 

I was at my Nissan dealer and I started talking to this guy who was there (he was from Whitestone, NY)...he was telling me about his AE Maxima. One morning he went to his car and it was sitting on a set of bricks...they stole all 4 tires the previous night...but left the car...

I only provided instructions to do grey housings, not orange. So it's not my fault!

 

All I can say is that is why I left NY. Foreign car=Broken in or vandalized car

 

That's been bugging me also. The stock 17" rims look bigger than 17" for some reason. I went and measured them to make sure. The diameter from lip-to-lip is a lot more than 17" and the width from the inside edge to the outside lip is almost 8". I know they are listed as 17" x 7" rims. How exactly are rims measured then

 

It's simple. If someone steals mine, then I'm gonna steal somone else's.

 

Two people have already told me that about the center caps I just had stolen off my rims. I don't like the way it feels that someone did it to me, so why would I go and do it to someone who's innocent and doesn't deserve it? Sounds cliche, but I stand by it...two wrongs don't make a right.

 

several days ago that people would start stealing the side markers on our cars!! Luckily I live in a low crime area....my car is garaged all day...and my car is in a secure parking lot while I work (at night). Not to mention that here in Oklahoma Maximas aren't very prevalent...almost everyone here drives the biggest sport-utes available.

 

People will take ANYTHING that isn't bolted down, and sometimes even THAT doesn't stop them. I don't like the fact that item's that are so easily removed from our cars (sidemarkers, center caps) cost so much to replace from the dealer. I was thinking about engraving some identification info on these items, but even that probably won't help.

You know, someone will smash your window just to steal a quarter that you left hanging out on your dashboard!

 

ye that is sooo true... one of my rear bumper markers was missing too! it sucked.. i tinted them so i dunno why someone wanted a tinted rear clear... but i was thinking maybe i didnt put it back right and it just fell off... i dunno... but that would have to mean that i didnt snap the harness in and didnt put it in right...my dad got me a new one so i got both back but now one is tinted and the other is clear.. i gotta tint it this weekend... damn this sux!!
there are sooo many MaXs in brooklyn... ye my dad said i should put the VIN on them but that isnt going to stop anyone... cause u cant put it on the outside cause it will look ugly and if its on the inside then who cares no one will see it!! ughhhhhh
