body graphics

I was thinking about putting some rice on the Max. Has anyone used vinal body graphics before? Does it look bad if you have that raised molding or the pin stripe?

Do what you want...it's your car. But since you are asking for opinions (or are you?) I think that stuff is pretty cheesy.....then again there is a max in "fast and furious" with vinyl decals i think....

IMO, Vinyl is really only for show cars, it would just look strange on a daily driver, especially if the car isn't heavily modified. You would probably want to peel the pinstripe first ..

You know when you peel a pinstripe and it leaves that ghost mark? If you ever get tired of your graphics or plan on selling your car and want to take them off, could you imagine the ghost mark that they would leave? Just something you might wanna keep in mind.

no I do want opinions...as far as running it as a daily driver w/o crazy mods and the graphics, I guess it would look pretty weak. I'm just looking for opinions

don't you laugh at those people on civics with graphics? do you want THEM to laugh AT YOU??? If you don't care - go for it. Since you want opinions, I say NO. I've seen some people with those "NISMO" and "STILLEN" sticker and those look gay. Imagine what's gonna happen if you go with graphics.

I Vote NO

Yeah, thanks for the consensus...looking at all the rides on this forum and those on other sites, it seems like people don't even put badges on them...just clean and stealth but nice

i like mine plain. i just keep it clean and sharp looking. it could look good if it is heavily modified and could whip some a**. Other than that, i'd recommend keeping it kind of low key with the sticker graphics.

I think I'm the only guy that says GO FOR IT!!!!

I mean as long as its tasteful. I've designed one for mine and will be cutting the graphic and applying it later. I will take pics and show it to you folks. I think you'll like it.

Same here!!

Yeah otherwise, I don't think vinyl would look good on a daily driver. I remember making fun of the Eclipse's with the racing stripe down the middle of the body. Haven't seen any of those lately. Wonder why?

umm racing stripes are fine...but you better have at least 8 cylinders and nomore than 2 doors for the look to work. The viper looks good with racing stripes....Cobra looks good with racing stripes....(hey any car with a snake's name, I guess )powerful sports cars, that's fine. 4-door family touring sedans or riced-out 4-bangers- not so much!

Well, I think you're one and only besides some friends of mine...I'd like to check out the pics when you get it done.

It seems the consensus is No though. I mean, what would a date thing if you pulled up in a racer. Or pulling into work with the stickers pealing back from the speed.

Just an idea of what I plan on doing. The graphic will be reflective white so you won't see it in the day, only at night when it lights up!!!!

that does look pretty sick. I was thinking something for the side skirts and lower back to the trunk b/c of the pin strips I already have stock. I've got some ideas from a company in Cali
