I just bought an 03 Maxima last Friday. It was a PA car and thus it had no front license plate bracket. Since I live in beautiful NJ, I need to have one. I bought the bracket from the dealer but it didn't come with any mounting instructions. It also only has two screws, which by the look of them are for mounting the license plate to the bracket, not the bracket to the car. Would anybody be able to give me some guidence as to how to mount this thing to the bumper? Illustrations from a service manual or something would help a lot. Thanks.

 

just go to the dealer and tell them to do it for u... why grow through the trouble when it was their job to do it in the first place

 

Unfortuately I didn't buy it from the dealer. I bought it from a small wholesale guy. I figured the dealer wouldn't install it for free. I have it going in for the 30,000 stealing, er, service on Friday so for what I'm paying for that, maybe they'll install the bracket while their at it.

 

it is in the owner's manual page 9-13 in 02 book. If you don't have the book their a tread about two day ago dowload the manual. You may need in the furture.
