How Long to Receive Frankencar Intake?

Hi guys, it's my first post. I ordered the frankencar intake 3 weeks ago, and was wondering how long I should expect to receive it? Also, how does the frankencar compare to other intakes (power gains/losses, sound)? Thanks!!

You will have to wait forever.... and a few days.

no but seriously, i had to wait almost 3 months to get mine... and alot of other people had to wait the same amount of time, if not longer then i did.

i love my intake it really sounds good. since i have technosquare ecu, it feels like i gained a lot. and my rpms pick up really fast. but that because of ecu hehe

I got mine in about 3-4 weeks. I was with a group deal. I like the sound, but no real power/speed gain. But I don't have anything else with it, like y/b pipe, ecu, exhaust, etc.

no, an intake alone doesn't do it.
you need a sticker.

your JWT filter has one? and it fits inside the stock air box?

How much is a frankencar intake?

I got the Frankencar intake on a group deal a few months ago. Only took a few weeks (4-5). The sound is great - not very noticable during normal driving, but nice growl when accelerating hard. Mine was $193 with Apexi filter. I'm very happy.

i say go with the injen intake. it draws in cooler air and it looks cooler. plus you can get it much quicker. I have a place racing intake but it was kind of a pain in the *** to install. the reason is b/c i had to cut a hole in the wheel well so if you dont have anything against that i say go for the place racing.

2 weeks to 2 months.

I got mine in 3 weeks, but apparently I'm lucky, so don't hold your breath.

This may sound crazy, but I just got the frankencar in today. After hearing some of the responses, I was thinking I'd be waiting forever, but i guess i got lucky, too. It was almost a month to receive and I'm putting it on tonight! Are there any writeups with pictures for the installation? Thanks guys!
