Hi guys. I live in Long Island, NY and its starting to get very cold here lol. I want to install a remote starter for my car, but I dont need a new alarm, I just want it to work with my existing maxima key fob.

Does some1 recommend a good shop to do it in please, and preferebly the chpeast. And how much should I expect to pay? Thanks for the info in advance.

Viper makes a module to work with the factory remote (i.e. - pressing the lock button 2x will start the car)

Will cost between 150-200 or more depending on the shop.

 

Thanks Igor thats exactly what Ive been looking for. Is that a good idea to do that? Or should I just pay about $400 and just get a whole new alarm system?

Also will this void my waranty?
