What do you use to clean the Haze off the headlights? I have noticed some haze or dust from the inside or outside of the light but i can't seem to clean it!

There's actually a TSB for it. They recommend using some 3M product and rubbing taht compound over the plastic. When the dealer did it for me-it cleared it up AND the lights are actually a bit brighter (mine were very cloudy)

^^ Agreed...I use it at least once a month. It works very well and best of all safe.

you apply it on the outside- the haze is just debris accumulating while driving

yes peboys/autozone should have them Mothers/3M/Meguiars

Sandblasted???

I just bought a 2k 5-spd that looks like it was driven in the Sahara for a while. The lights are pretty sand-blasted and a bit discolored.

Anyone had luck getting more substantial pitting out with these products, or just haze and the occasional scratch?

I'd recomend using an orbital buffer and a mild rubbing compoud on the headlights. I bought a used set of AE's and they were very scuffed/scratched/pitted/hazed/whatever... 15 min and they looked 100% new, then seal it up with the 3M stuff...

To be completely honest I'm not sure... My friend had a bottle of some kind of plastic polish/protectant. I don't know who made it, but I'm sure it's the same principal. I'm sure if you go to autozone or wherever you can find something that will do just fine.

Never ever use a strong solvent on any kind of plastic. MaGuires used to make a plastic polish. Used it on my motorcycle windshied and helmet shield for years.
