Reseting the ECU

I'm pretty sure the only thing I have to do is reset the ECU does anyone have any idea how to do that or does anyone have a Maima "bible"......Thanks for all the input really hope I don't have to drive around with the light on all the time or have to take out the bulb

Disconnect the battery. You may have to leave it disconnected for a couple/few hours. I would try the quick disconnect, leave it like that for about an hour, then reconnect.

I spoke with a Nissan service tech today, and he said that disconnecting the battery cable probably wouldn't reset an ECU, because the ECU has a lithium battery in it that will hold a charge for two days or so. Instead, he said he could connect a computer and wipe the "learn only" memory clean in just the click of a button. Hmmm......
