I have an aftermarket alarm installed in my car.
I needed to get a new keyfob and stop using my Nissan one.
This is fine with me... but just recently the factory alarm.. (car horn honking) goes off periodically so I have been carrying both on my keychain.

How do you disable the Factory Alarm perminently (I don't care if it gets rid of the security light by the clock)..

When my viper alarm goes off my factory doesnt go off...

But I can still use both of the remotes

 

Same here.. but past few weeks I have come out to my car horn beeping..
I want it to go away.. Only want the Viper working.

What model Viper did you get?Some model you can disarm your factory,cause some viper has an xtra disarm wire to disarm your factory while disarming your viper at the same time.

 

Have you checked with the installers about this? They probably can find out from tech support.
