Go with the Konigs, they'll be easier to keep clean. BTW, I just bought Konig Blatants yesterday in 17x8. When I was pricing rims, I was looking at the ASA LW5s, and couple of places advised me to steer clear of ASA ???. Enjoy your new Konigs.

Just checked Konig's website, and it looks like the spokes stick out past the rim of the wheel. This means that the rims will be more suseptible to curb rash if they can't be protected by the tire. You might want to see the the Verdicts in person. This is important if a woman drives your car at all

You can drive. Are those Toyo Proxes FZ4? If so, how do you like them?

:Laguh: My wife is pretty good about it. She is actually afraid of parking in tight spots so I do the 90+% of the driving.

What do you guys think about 18x8 with 40mm offset? You think they will look good on 5th gen max? I want to minimize that "tucked in" look.

Thanks for the pics Y2KSESteve! Actually they look pretty nice. I wonder how that would look on Sterling Mist. Are those 18x8 40mm offset ones? How do you like them?

I don't think you can pay a "little" more and get BBS. You'd probably have to pay at least twice as much to get comparable wheels. BBS is nice, but way too pricy. If I had that kind of money I would get Volks or Work wheels.

I like my AT 18X8's. They have a lip on the wheel that gives it depth and makes the wheel look wider. My last wheel had a face that sat out flush with the edge of the tire, talk about rock chips. I like my Nitto 555 extremes. They are not as good in the rain as my S-O3's. The S-O3 is the perfect tire except for the center band in the middle of the tire, it follows all of the grooves in the road and then your car is hard to keep in a straight line. I need to lower my max a bit ,but I don't want to kill the ride. I'm wondering if its better to do coil overs or springs with better struts? Suggestions? also which brands are the best?

Yes, they are pre- painted. Expect to drip a benji though. Trust me there is nothing on this car, but I hear that green and sunlit sand are two popular colors among the girls. I chose white, with the fine italian sheepskin seat covers. Hey Igor, when are you going to tell me about your lights so I can update mine. I like my xenons, but I hate the yellow foglights. Plus I need tips on the best way to lower my max, that is, coil overs or springs and struts and what brands are best. Also is any camber adjustments needed?

Thanks Igor. One question though. How was the "tucked in" situation with these? Especially in the rear? The offset and wheel width are the same as your current EVOs would you say tuckage was was about the same? Worse? Better? Comapred to your current EVOs. I think EVOs tuckage is about perfect. Not too tucked in, not too protruded.

Thanks!
