Are there radio controls for the 2000 Maxima?

I have a 2000 Maxima and I was wondering if there's any way that I can install a radio control for the steering wheel. On the left side of the steering wheel, there's a little "door" for something to be installed.

Anybody with ideas?

I think there is a possibility. If you remove the trim plate on the left side of the steering you can see a mounting bracket with holes. To get a match to the cruise control you would want the radio control from a Xterra. We have a 2002 SC X and the cruise control units are the same, and it also has a matching radio control. The next problem is wether there would be anything to plug the control into...I will let someone else figure that out.

Nope. It's not standard on a 2000.

It's my understanding that the steering wheel controls started in 2k1 on the Max.
