projectors in the lights

this winter break, I will be attempting to install projectors in my headlights... i have a spare set of headlights that i wi,ll use as my guinea pig... the projectors I have are the audi ones... from the looks of it, seems like it'll be difficult to install.. anyone have any links to pages of where people installed the projectors in? i would assume the install is easier on a 2k2+, but these are going in a 2k, but i think itll look better in a 2k...

igor: i think the 2k2 dont look as good as the 2k.. I mean, I like the the 2k's, you can paint the inside like the ae style. i know you can paint the 2k2's , but it doesnt look the same... but if I got the 2k2's, I would still want to retrofit, I love the way the projectors look and that blue/purple look at far distances/angle....

I already have hid's, just want to install some projectors and be a little different...

geo: thanks... any pictures???

Yeah, I'm sure he won't have any trouble finding some 2k2 housings, especially from sellers around NY/NJ...

Teddibear:

I'm doing this same project over this winter. I ordered valeo ECE projectors from HIDtech.com... They don't list them but they can send them for you. I'm going to be getting (hopefully) my 2002 headlights this week and I will start a retro. I was thinking of doing it into my 2000 lights but I still want to keep highbeams. http://hidforum.com and http://faq.auto.light.tripod.com/ are the best places to get info like geo said. I love the cutoff of projectors and I can't wait to get these into my lights. Here's a pic of the cutoff that my valeo's have. (shame that they are sitting in a box right next to me right now).

Any questions you've got I'll be happy to talk to ya about the process.

-James
