29,000 miles only had the car 2 weeks, and im getting this p505 fault code for the Idle Control System. Anybody with experience know what was done to fix it? What causes it? Thanks for any info!

I just did a TB cleaning, would that have done anything to the idle control system?

 

I guess chunk of soot/dirt could've fallen into the Idle Air Control Valve when you were cleaning it.... I'd try cleaning it some more, see if it gets disloged, make sure to use throttle body cleaner, not just straight carb cleaner (some of them are not safe on fuel injected cars).
You can make sure the IAC valve is sort of operational by having someone turn ignition on and off and making sure it makes a sound when the key position is changed (buzzing sound). Oh yeah, and the car could/should idle funny if its really broke.

Oh yeah... IAC valve is a cylinder cansiter looking thing(its a stepper motor) that is connected to the intake manifold right under the throttle body and is oriented in the same direction with a 6 pin (2*3) connecter sticking out the side of it.

I would try cleaning it some more and re-setting the code... if code comes back... warranty time.
