who thinks i should trade o2 6 speed

for a 2000 WRX 5 speed, and mod the hell out of it..

AWD would be nice, more performance potential

Depends what you want really, the WRX has more potential than your 02. AWD is nice too, but you'd still need to get LSD for the WRX.

Get the STi, it should cost the same if not less than a fully loaded max.

 

don't want to get new though. STI is a ripoff if u think about it.

An older WRX can put down the same numbers or better, just modded right... And i don't like the stock rice look. I want a total sleeper. Hell i like that it has the ugly headlights, no one will jack em (unlike my max)

LSD is not an option?

If i can get enuf for my 2k2 6 speed, i'll get the WRX and spend the difference and 2 grand in mods.

I wanna blow the thing up to like 400 horses if i can ; )

 

Unless I missed something, the earliest year WRX available here is 2k2 which still runs in the 20k range. Unless you somehow manage to get close to 20k for your Max, the 2k you have towards mods will go into getting the WRX.

 

If you have the money and don't need the extra space the Maxima provides, do it. It would be nice to have AWD and I like tossable small cars. As far as straight line performance, its a wash between the WRX (unmodded) and the Max. Any slight off the line advantage the WRX has is offset by the Max's more usable power.
