OEM interior parts/ stupid window

Ok. Here is my problem. I was attempting to fix the window on my 2002 SE because it had the infamous "I will roll up but immediately roll back down because I sense a fly's wing is in the way and I might hurt it" problem. My problem was that, even after reading instructions, I could not get the door panel off. I could use some good instructions on how to get the panel off, but that is offtopic. While trying to take the door panel off, I broke the trim ring around the door panel. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement part without having the dealer order one? Thanks.

I broke mine too. Those things are really really delicate. I doubt you'll find anything to replace it unless you either a) Go to the dealership or 2) go to a junkyard and hope.

I would go to the dealership to get a new trim for it, I'm assuming it's that plastic retainer around the door handle. The dealer broke the trim when they were replacing my regulator. Luckily they ordered and replaced it. I know how it comes off, you have to have a flat head and remove that trim first

That's probably why you wonder why you couldn't remove the panel off. I'm not sure how much they cost for that piece of plastic.
