There was a message in one of the HID theft threads wanting to find hood locks in the hope of preventing the theft. I found some at JC Whitney.. Link:http://www.jcwhitney.com/webapp/wcs/...&storeId=10101

Maybe those experiencing the HID theft could verify if these items might in fact help deter the theft.

 

As usual JCW gives little to no info on where or how the install. Best I can see is that they require drilling down through the hood. Not appealing to me if that is true...

 

Hood locks are useless in this case.

my hids were ripped out thieves never popped the hood.
