i was looking for a cheap air intake, preferably a short ram instead of a cia. i was wondering if one for a 95-99 would fit my 2000 since it is the same engine, and if not, where can i get a 2000 intake for cheap?

i pretty sure the difference between 4 and 5th gens would the maf adapter. any 3" filter will work but the maf adapter off a 4th gen intake wont work on ours. you can find cheap intakes on ebay, but i would suggest purchasing a maf adapter and picking a k&n filter such as ru-2820 which is a good price and good sized filter.

 

I've been looking for an intake as well and found that Adventon is cheep but the guys from South west auto (http://store.yahoo.com/southwestauto...ismaxprod.html) support us ORG guys. Check them out too. I'm gonna go with the Injen. Happy Shopping

 

ok.. talking about intaks my 5th gen has the maf and another sensor before the filter...can neone tell me wtf thats for?

 

After some more thinking....maybe a Frankencar would be the way to go but I hear that the shipping takes forever
