To flush or not to flush, that is the question

Should the engine flush be done? Is it very usefull?

I was going to reply to your other thread but it wont let me.
On an 02? Naw, I would just drain myself and refill 60-40 distilled water.
Very poisonus to animals so watch out there with the old stuff.

Your other thread about dealer coupons, Very good but problem is, that is to get you in the door so they can cram other (high) profit items down your throat that you dont need.
Could be your 2 threads tie together because of that.

I think Neeferea was talking about "engine flush" as in, using engine flush stuff in the oil before an oil change...

I doubt it'll be necessary. Especially if you use synthetic...

Yeah you are right. But you don't have to buy anything. And the service turns out to be even less expensive then none dealer service. 50$ for tranny flush

Yeah that what i am talking about. High presure engine cleaning. They run some kind of liquid through the engine under pressure.
