retrofitting HID projectors into OEM headlights, any ideas?

any comments on projector retros? DIY or pay to get done? (I’ve visited www.hidtech.com & www.illusiolighting.com so far) any other nice deals online for parts/customization? any pics from members?

I have asked this question on a previous thread but no one answered to it... Please if someone can answer it.

Has anyone, or does anyone know if there is any projector kit for the 2002+ maximas?

Or does anyone know where I can find projector kits for 9005 light bulbs?

Or, does anyone know how hard it would be to make a projector kit at home?

I'm doing this as we speak. When I'm done I'll post pics and such. I'm using E code valeo's with a modified shield and philips 4300K bulbs.

lol hid's are addictive. If you get hooked, lookout, it's a horribly expensive thing to get into. I spent too much time over on HIDforum and now my lighting has turned into a black hole. Oh well they'll look great when they are done.

I have 3 friends that had their cars retro'd by Illusion-lighting. Their job is out of this world. Its just like OEM. The same can be said for HidTech or so people say. I've never seen any of their work but it looks very much legit. HIDTechs prices are a bit cheaper, if price is really an issue for this type of thing.

Having 2 cars retofitted from hidretro.com, I would highly reccommend him to anyone else. I was about ready to go to illusion-lighting.com, but when I explained the type of lighting I wanted, they said it wasn't possible (honda s2000 projector)

Hidretro retrofitted s2k's into both accords. You can view the job on his website. I highly reccomend him, from my experiences.
