I have had amjor issues with pinging and the dealer is going to replace the MAF on Monday. I've read some other posts where replacing the MAF cured the pinging. I wonder if the vibtation from my Injen caused the problem. Is there such a athing as a partial failure of a MAF without throwing the SES light?? Thanks.

Yes, there is. I personally haven't experienced it, but have read about it several times here...

For the 2002-2003 models, the actual MAF part number you want to order is 22680-AM600. The old part numbers are 22680-6N200 and 22680-6N201.
DaveB's price is around $380 plus shipping for a new one, but you can find one that is used from http://www.car-part.com/ for around $150, sometimes as low as $65. Be sure to call the salvage yard and make sure you get the newer part, not the old ones.

here is the deal
the MAF asu174 is talking about is not the 2003 one. he is actually talking about the MAF for 2k-2k1
the 2003 one (the new one) cause 400-500....DaveB probably can do better than that as stated above.
it does not take 8 mins to do it, all you have to do is take out 2 screws, unplug maf, plugin new maf, put the 2 screws back
