Well, The $tealer charges about 400-500 dolars (american) for the 2003 MAF.
My friend had one replaced under warranty and they charged him. He sued and Won (i think)......I haven't heard form him in a long time.

No need to ask US what it costs, when DAVEB is more then capable of answering all your questions AND hooking you up with a killer price.

Check the "Parts List" sticky above.

Lots of USEFUL info in the stickies! If it's said over and over, most likely it's somewhere easy to find.

There is a new MAF for 03's????? My MAF part number matches the one listed in the "hesitation" TSB. Is there a newer one than that?

I have had amjor issues with pinging and the dealer is going to replace the MAF on Monday. I've read some other posts where replacing the MAF cured the pinging. I wonder if the vibtation from my Injen caused the problem. Is there such a athing as a partial failure of a MAF without throwing the SES light?? Thanks.

Yes, there is. I personally haven't experienced it, but have read about it several times here...

if people don't want to give answers, don't write. The question was valid.

For the 2002-2003 models, the actual MAF part number you want to order is 22680-AM600. The old part numbers are 22680-6N200 and 22680-6N201.

DaveB's price is around $380 plus shipping for a new one, but you can find one that is used from http://www.car-part.com/ for around $150, sometimes as low as $65. Be sure to call the salvage yard and make sure you get the newer part, not the old ones.

I think his answer is actually valid too (albeit a little exagerated). I think the MAF sensor install is really easy. along the lines of replacing a fuse but maybe a little more complicated.

here is the deal
the MAF asu174 is talking about is not the 2003 one. he is actually talking about the MAF for 2k-2k1

the 2003 one (the new one) cause 400-500....DaveB probably can do better than that as stated above.

it does not take 8 mins to do it, all you have to do is take out 2 screws, unplug maf, plugin new maf, put the 2 screws back
