I thought that on the 2001 GXE with Comfort/Convenience, the alloy wheels you get are the 5-spoke alloys, similar to that of the GLE, but it looks like you get the "luxury" instead of the "sport-luxury" alloy wheels, which look just like the hubcap of the base GXE....can anyone confirm this? Thanks!

You are correct. You will get the 9 spoke wheels with the comfort/convenience package. I hated mine and purchased the 5 spoke wheels off of ebay and it makes the car look a lot nicer.

I did the same. I sold me luxury alloys for the 5 spoke sports. I like the 5 spoke wheels better than the 6 spoke 17's. I wish they made a 5 spoke Nissan 17" wheel. The 17's remind me of wagon wheels.

I guess that's a little harsh. The 17's look better in one way though; It eliminates the wheel gap much more than the 16's. My car looks like a 4 wheel drive.

I like 5 spokes.... did I mention that?

Just go to tirerack.com They allow you to choose whatever car you want in any available factory color and it shows you what all rims would look like on the car...instantly! Without having to cut, paste, modify, smooth out, etc in photoshop. Check it out if you haven't already seen it...that's what I'm using to help make decisions on new rims so I can actually SEE what they would look like ON the car before I buy them.
