POLO, how did you paint your lights?

I know you opened the lights, but I need some HOW TO.
did you sand the silver stuff atound the lights before painting? or did you just paint over it? What type of paint did you use? I know it's dull black but what brand?
When resealing, How long did you let the lights dry before doing so?

You wanna use some high temp paint because it gets pretty hot since its HID.

Actually...heat is not an issue for hids. Click here for a more solid explination.
Igor, I had this posted in your last hid thread mang. You should know these things

Halogens burn A LOT hotter then 300 F. Hids however will burn around 200-250 in most cases.

painting them is extremely easy, just take your time once you get them open and use multiple coats...Mask off specifically what areas you need (ie. all reflector areas) and you really don't need to sand. Here's a pic for you:

If you take a look at your lights, you will notice that there is a "ring" around each light. I chose to leave that ring the chrome, and IMHO, it will make your lights stand our a lot more. Plus, it gives you a guideline to tape off. AND, it will make the DDE angel eyes look all the better, too!!
