How do I remove clear plastic over guage panel.

I have some water spots on that plastic and they are on the inside and I need to get that clear plastic off. Does anyone know how to remove that the easiest possible way?

There is no easy way.

I had the take apart the cluster to install my chrome gauge rings.

Anway, you first need to remove all the plastic pieces around that area (black trim around cluster, plastic over steering wheel shaft and ignition, plastic at knees). Once the actual cluster is exposed, you then need to remove the screws holding the cluster in place. Pull the cluster out slightly to get your hand behind it and unplug the connectors. The whole cluster will then come out. The clear plastic piece is just snapped to the housing and you will need to pry the snaps open a little at each point until you can slide the plastic off. Once that is done, you can clean up the plastics, etc. Just don't touch any of the needles, they may not work properly once everything is back together.

Hope that cleared it up.

look in the "Installation Instructions /How-To's For..." thread. POST #32.

that is actually a how to on installing a gauge bezel, but you will see how to get the cover off in the process.

please check the "how to" section next time before asking questions like this.
