I got it, installed it, love it.

It's not too loud, I can't really tell any differences in how hard it pulls cause I think anything I do feel is just psychological. Anyways, if you want something to turn heads due to sound, go with a GReddy or Cattman, but the Frankencar is def. worth it (IMO)

Still waitin on a sound clip - anyone do one yet? I'd love to hear it. So far this setup is the best looking, IMO. Great to hear there are no drones either!!! Someone do a recording now, and share

Love my Frankencar exhaust. Definatly worth the $400 bucks. Like everone said, If you want sound get a Greddy. This muffler is very similar in sound to the OE muffler. Just hope it performes better than OE. By the way the only way I did get in contact with these guys was to leave a voice mail on Scott's cell. He definatly returns calls. Cool guy to deal with.

So, if it sounds just like stock, how is it worth $400?

IMO, exhasuts are waste of money. Not to trash anyone who got one. Actually I might get one myself

To me sound is not only reason to get an exhaust. Things like Stainless Steel construction, durability, slight increase in performance (5hp at best), better look come to mind. I'm sure Franken car sounds different than OE. Probably there is more rumble than OE. All this makes $400 worth it.

Just wanted to update: Scott did reply to my email today..guess I was a little impatient. They're ok with pick-ups but don't do installs. How much does it typically cost to get the entire system installed?

You can do it your self, because you only have to bolt it on with gasket, no wellding invlove. I think to get is install is about $68 to 80 depend on hourly rate they charge.

It definately does not sound like stock in term of sound. Like stock as in NO moaning or rumbling at normal or highway speed. It does produce a deep throaty sound under acceleration. For that price, it is a good deal to pay for the durable stainless steel construction of the exhaust system.

I asked FrankenCar that question. They said they expect the same results as any other aftermarket exhaust with 2.5 inch piping. They said they are going to do a dyno on sum1's car as soon as he returns from college, so apparently they have a specific car and person who has it installed that they are waiting for.

It's not exactly like stock. It's a little louder and deeper. Not too noticeable. Everyone I used to drive around says they've noticed it's louder and not annoying like a rice rocket. If you want louder, go with Greddy, seriously.

It's worth it if you get stainless more horses & no ricey sound. Personaly I prefer to have less sound and 5 extra horse increase than a ricey sounding rumble waking the neihbors at 5:30 A.M. At $400 bucks as compared to the CAttman exhaust, which looks identical at $650 it truly is a bargain.

i think the frankencar exhaust is a good deal compared to greddy and cattman. It's nice to have a un ricey sound like greddy for even cheaper. However, I'm not all about having a cool sound from the exhaust, I'm more of an intake sound person.

any 2.5" exhaust will give you ~5-7 hp- theres no dyno needed . I got ~15 whp with a bpipe and their intake

No drone(in cabin)? I'll believe it when I hear it (unless its a chambered muffler similar to OEM in design)
